Finance Ontology

This ontology represents a finance domain model constructed for our framework for automatic generation of mashups. The ontology is grounded to the Proton upper-level model (http://proton.semanticweb.org). Some domain concepts are borrowed from LSDIS Finance Ontology (http://lsdis.cs.uga.edu/library/resources/) and XBRL Ontology (http://xbrlontology.com/). For the categorization of industry sectors, we used the Yahoo taxonomy (http://www.yahoo.com).
